Branford, Connecticut - USA, November 22, 2005. GraphLogic is pleased to announce that its novel technology, the GraphWeaver Editor, is now available to GraphWeaver users. The GraphWeaver Editor provides customers with internal maintenance capabilities for their GraphLogic custom applications. The GraphWeaver Editor is a critical component of GraphLogic's state-of-the-art Development and Computing Platform. This revolutionary approach to creating and maintaining software applications utilizes GraphLogic's proprietary Object Process Graph (OPG) (pat. 7,316,001) technology. The GraphLogic Editor operates graphically. Furthermore, the Editor does not utilize code generation.
The Object Process Graph is the world's first general purpose computing architecture that completely synthesizes data and programming. The OPG is a graph object oriented database that stores all process and computational logic, all display properties, and all metadata and instance data of an application. Information that is traditionally considered program logic is stored in the OPG as nodes and edges; similar to how persistent instance data is stored. No binary or object files are required to run the OPG system.
Dr. Steven Gold, President and CEO, describes the Editor as a high level design platform for complex, large-scale systems. "However," he adds, "in a revolutionary departure from traditional environments, the Editor requires no manual or automatic code generation. The Editor defines an underlying Object Process Graph that is immediately interpreted and executed by the GraphWeaver Engine. As a result, the need for computer program coding skills - at any stage of the application life cycle - is completely eliminated." "Furthermore," explained Dr. Gold, "the release of the GraphWeaver Engine to users of GraphLogic custom applications represents a breakthrough in software maintenance. Now, GraphLogic clients can realize a significant increase in the life cycle of their GraphLogic applications resulting in a considerably enhanced return on their software investment."
GraphLogic plans to launch a general release of the freestanding GraphWeaver Editor/Engine in the first quarter of 2006. Clients will be able to use the advanced development platform provided by the GraphWeaver Editor both to unify traditionally developed existing applications and to create their own software systems from the ground up.
