President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Steven Gold is the founder of GraphLogic Inc. and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Gold has held several technical management positions at a number of companies. At Echlin, a Fortune 500 manufacturing company,
he conceived, planned, and implemented a project to replace an IBM mainframe with a local area network of PCs.
He created this solution at a time when few industry professionals believed this to be possible. His innovative work attracted the attention of
Computerworld, MIS Week, and Computer Decisions. Dr. Gold served as Director of Bioinformatics
at CuraGen Corporation, where he was critical to the growth of the Bioinformatics group and was responsible for the Laboratory Information Management
Systems (LIMS) and Core Architecture groups for the company’s platform technologies. He is the original inventor of
GraphLogic’s software architecture and the lead inventor on several GraphLogic patent applications.
Dr. Gold has published peer-reviewed articles on artificial intelligence, neural computation, and pattern
recognition. Dr. Gold earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in computer science from Yale University.
Vice President, Business and Strategic Development
Nicholas J. Strish serves as GraphLogic’s Vice President of Business
and Strategic Development. Coming to GraphLogic with an extensive background in health science, business and information technology,
Nick is in charge of strategic initiatives and expansion of the company’s growing base of business.
He achieved early success in the laboratory environment in sales roles with the Scientific Products Division
of the former American Hospital Supply Corporation. Leveraging upon his accomplishments, he subsequently entered the healthcare
information technology space and advanced his career in sales management roles with Cerner Corporation and CHC as they successfully
grew their businesses and became public entities. Most recently, Nick has had strategic roles in the early development of
health technology businesses spawned from academic environments including Wharton/Penn and The University of Michigan.
Nick is a graduate of Adelphi University and holds a B.B.A degree with majors in marketing and finance.
Product Development Management
David M. Baker brings over forty years experience in software development to GraphLogic.
His extensive background includes software development in the medical, computer hardware, military,
and entertainment sectors. He spent over 20 years with GE, where he contributed to several divisions.
His broad expertise has enabled him to make a number of key contributions to GraphLogic’s core system
architecture. Prior to working for GraphLogic, Mr. Baker was responsible for the Core Architecture Group
in Bioinformatics at CuraGen Corporation, where he helped develop the overall software architecture,
software development processes and software development tools used by the Bioinformatics division.
